Renowned for its ventilation and comfort, this Enduro MTB helmet has been advanced from the much loved 4.0 full-face helmet.

The heart of the Enduro 4.0 is the structurally sound, and easy to operate, removable chin bar design, but the adaptability goes much deeper. A removable mouthpiece in the chin bar increases ventilation or can be installed to protect you when riding in poor weather conditions. A universal sunglasses dock lets you safely dock your sunglasses under the visor when not in use, protected from scratches and unwanted impacts. And the adjustable visor extends enough to place your goggles underneath, so you don’t have to constantly remove them.

This fully ASTM DH certified helmet is the go-to helmet for Enduro riders. Uphill or downhill, e-bike or trail - you name it, the Leatt 4.0 Enduro helmet has you covered. The full-face design with removable chin bar with an incredible strong magnesium lock offers outstanding ventilation and its convenient Fidlock® buckle is easy to operate even when your fingers are cramping with arm pumps.

We all crash. Sometimes hard, and sometimes even harder! All Leatt helmets feature 360 ̊ Turbine Technology. This design utilizes a network of small discs constructed of a non-Newtonian, energy-absorbing material. Because these Turbines can move 360 ̊ (omnidirectional), this technology has two exclusive advantages: namely the reduction of rotational acceleration to the head and brain and the absorption of energy upon impact at concussion level.

Actually Two Helmets in One!

Loam Wolf’s "Best MTB Helmets of 2024”: our 4.0 Enduro model being awarded the "most versatile MTB helmet", stating: "The Leatt MTB Enduro 4.0 helmet is actually two helmets in one. (...) If you travel regularly and want to save space in your luggage by only having to bring “One” helmet that can be adapted into two different helmets, this one is hard to beat!“
The 4.0 Enduro, as the top of the line of our convertible helmets, features dual density, in-molded EPS + EP0 impact foams for superior energy absorption, as well as our "360 Turbines" technology to reduce peak brain and rotational accelerations.

One helmets to rule them all!

At £290, Leatt’s latest 4.0 enduro helmet is a serious investment, but the rock-solid chin bar feels more secure than most convertibles, there’s the reassurance of a DH rating (even though we’d choose something beefier for DH racing) and in open face mode it’s good enough to be your everyday helmet, which takes considerable sting out of the cost.
