Hits: Comfortable, Doesn’t slip, No bunching - Misses: Doesn’t vent particularly well, Not enough...

We didn’t experience any chafing or sliding, but pulling them on was always a challenge, as the material didn’t seem to stretch enough for easy installation. Another interesting thing that happened while testing these pads was the thin material in the back ripped on brief contact with a platform pedal. This isn’t particularly unusual, but it did cause problems when putting the pads on in the future. Every time we pulled them on after that, the hole would grow. It didn’t affect the overall performance, but it didn’t look nice, and it was a bit annoying to deal with. A couple of pluses were we never had to adjust them once on, and we never had an issue with bunching. With as high a price tag as these have, it’s hard for us to justify the purchase, but Leatt has a few other pads that we love, including the AirFlex Pro, which these are derived from, that work very well and are in fact one of our favorite pads to date.
